Stacked clean, one on one,

on two, on three,

sliding outward, frictionless,

quiet, chill.

They clink, in resounding bursts,

jumps, slides

teetering on edge,

precarious, uncertain.

Pyramids of silicon smooth,

clear, classy,

dark, some light,

converging, reflection.

One falls, boom,

one slips, squeal,

the others panic,

tremble, chatter.

The ceiling gives way to the floor,

the top becomes the bottom,

order, its own disorder,

Then quiet, again,

standing, thinking,

a new order.
